If you have experienced NYC in the fall, you know it comes with a crisp breeze of magic in the air. That breeze swept me away from Manhattan, across the Brooklyn Bridge, and into the heart of Prospect Park, where the iconic Brooklyn Boathouse was transformed into a floral wonderland for an enchanting workshop celebrating artistry and nature.

Hosted by Winsome Floral and Trille Floral—two world-renowned florists admired by so many—this workshop was a dream come true. When I heard they were hosting in NYC, I was determined to purchase the first ticket. I knew it would be a pivotal learning experience in my floral career, and I was absolutely right. Over two unforgettable days with 20 fellow florists, I gained critical skills and new approaches to floral design that have already elevated my work.

Participants immersed themselves in hands-on techniques, crafting whimsical bouquets, romantic centerpieces, and large-scale installations that celebrated the richness of seasonal textures and colors. Deep burgundies, soft peaches, and vibrant pinks harmonized beautifully with flowing greenery and delicate, whimsical details. Against a backdrop of expansive windows and natural light, lush autumnal blooms framed the venue’s charming architecture, creating a setting that was nothing short of magical.

This workshop wasn’t just about learning floristry; it was a celebration of creativity and collaboration. We left with newfound skills, stunning arrangements, international floral friends, and a renewed appreciation for the transformative power of flowers.
